Mission and Areas of Interest

This interdisciplinary Open Access Journal aims at bringing innovative ideas, software, early experiments, measurements and projects to visibility. We welcome specific studies and works that adopt new methodologies and/or involve new technologies to accomplish the objective of the author’s research.

In addition to the technical dissertation, this Journal puts emphasis on the pedagogy of the research and the relevant learning aspects gained while coding, developing and/or testing the subject of the research.

We address a large variety of contributions, from technical manuscripts to proof-of-concept and from theoretical design studies to industry applicable standards.

The Journal promotes and oversees three main publications:

- The Journal, which is issued every quarter

- Special issues, including conference proceedings and thematic issues

- The Bulletin, which presents shorter, non-peer-reviewed pieces on which discussion on our LinkedIn page is encouraged.

The journal offers an online platform to Young Researchers encouraging them to publish the results of their recent theoretical and experimental results, facilitating an effective exchange of innovative scientific and engineering ideas and the dissemination of recent, original, and significant research and developmental findings. Publications on interdisciplinary work are highly encouraged, especially proposals related to the development of novel solutions that enable sustainable innovation.
